I had a few ideas about how this knife would perform, but it totally went the opposite way. I’m not saying it’s a bad knife, but I expected the edge retention to be a little better. I would put it on par with 8CR13MOV.

This knife performed on par with the Sebenza I tested in the same steel. To me this indicates a fundamental flaw in the steel itself, or the heat treating protocol. Not an isolated incident.
